TERMS & CONDITIONS

Due to the nature of gelato products, online orders and deliveries are available for centralised Gauteng region only, incorporating selected Johannesburg and Pretoria/Tshwane areas.

Using the Kingelato delivery service indicates that you agree to these Terms and Conditions, as well as agree to providing the following information to us, to be used strictly for the service delivery of our products.

  • Physical address for delivery, including the postal code of the billing address associated with payment.
  • A personal cellular number, and an additional contact number.
  • Email address, for the confirmation of orders and any changes to the delivery process.

Online customers will receive notifications confirming your orders and deliveries, so please ensure all contact details are correct.

All product prices quoted on the website at the time of placing your order will be the price charged to you.

Excluding any inadvertent technical errors, Kingelato will honour all published and advertised prices at the time of placing your order.

Kingelato does reserve the right to change product pricing and delivery charges within reason, at any time, please check before placing your order.


Payment Options 

Credit Card – CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE, BUT THIS FACILITY WILL BE CONFIRMED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Payments can be made through Payfast. Kingelato will hold the customers personal details, separate to the credit card details which will be held by the third party online payment service, using the strictest form of encryption. At no time does Kingelato have access to personal banking information and no information is are stored on our website.

EFT – Electronic funds transfer is currently accepted as payment for our products and delivery service.

To make an EFT payment through your bank account, transfer the required funds to the Kingelato account:

Please use the order number you received via the Kingelato website as a reference number.

Final confirmation for the payment of your order may take up to 3 to 5 working days, and only once funds have been securely transferred and reflected in the Kingelato account AND proof of payment has been received, will your order be dispatched for delivery.

Kingelato uses Nedbank, so please bear in mind that transfers from different banks may take longer to confirm.

MINIMUM ORDERS AND DELIVERY CHARGES

Online orders must be a minimum of 1 bulk box item, namely:

Mini tub box of 30 units (single or multiple flavours)

½ Litre box of 8 units (single or multiple flavours)

1 Litre box of 6 units (single or multiple flavours)

Delivery charge is R135 per single delivery for orders under R1500.

Orders over R1500 will be delivered FREE.

All orders are valid for 72 hours until final payment has been confirmed, and will be cancelled after 72 hours, if orders are not paid for or EFT payment has not been confirmed and reflected in the Kingelato bank account.

Please note that Kingelato currently offers 8 different seasonal flavours. Flavours are subject to change, based on availability and demand.

Your purchase of any bulk box item – see above – may contain any and all of the flavours, or a single flavour.

Delivery of individual orders will take up to 3- 7 working days, depending on the delivery area and the final confirmation of payment.
